Seven elite musicians, masters of their own instruments, pay homage to Robert Schumann at a concert in which they will perform major works of reference by the great romantic composer, such as the Quartet with Piano Op. 47, Adagio and Allegro Op. 70 and Fantasiestücke Op. 73. Also included in this Schumann Festival will be the rarely performed work of the Russian composer Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky, Children’s Album Op. 39, an extremely beautiful cycle of music for piano inspired by Schumann’s Album Op. 68.
