Opening Concert
Brahms Festival
Classic Summer Festival
The opening of the CLASSICAL SUMMER Chamber Music Festival will be dedicated to one of the greatest composers in the history of music, Johannes Brahms. At this concert, a group of exceptional musicians will perform two masterpieces from his extremely rich legacy of chamber music: the trios Op. 40 – for piano, violin and horn – and Op. 114 – for piano, clarinet and cello. The work of one of Brahms’ great friends and supporters, Robert Schumann – the highly inspired Märchenbilder Op. 113, for viola and piano – will also be performed at this concert.
