One of the most widely acclaimed jazz singers performing today, Stacey Kent will be returning once again to Portugal, a country that she loves most deeply. After her 2013 concerts, where once again she sang to full houses packed with adoring audiences who revelled in the melancholic sounds of her unforgettable and poetic show, Stacey Kent is back at the CCB. Magical is one of the adjectives most frequently used to describe the American singer who celebrates the music of some of her idols in faultless Portuguese, singing songs by Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, Sérgio Mendes, Roberto Menescal and Marcos Valle, together with some original compositions and some of the most essential jazz numbers. She will be accompanied by her husband, Jim Tomlinson (tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone and percussion), Graham Harvey (piano), Jeremy Brown (double bass) and Josh Morrison (drums and percussion).
