Progressive Lifting of Containment Measures at the CCB
Confidence, Safety and Novelty will mark the gradual resumption of our activities and our relationship with the artistic community, clients and the general public.
We will gradually resume our supply of cultural activities and the functioning of our services. And it is precisely because we wish to do this safely and with everyone’s support and confidence that we have established the following specific rules, in keeping with government guidelines and the advice of the health authorities.
Rules for occupancy and social distancing
There will be clearly visible signs in the different areas of the CCB, indicating the rules governing access, circulation and the occupancy of its spaces, maintaining the social distancing of two metres, as well as the maximum number of people allowed in that area at any one time. These rules are necessary in the present circumstances and we ask you to respect them.
Public service areas
All public service areas are equipped with acrylic protective barriers and the floor is marked with the compulsory social distances.
All areas are equipped with hand sanitisers for the use of visitors before beginning their activities, buying tickets and visiting exhibitions, among other actions.
For your greater safety, we have reinforced our hygiene plan for the building and its premises, particularly with regard to the disinfection of commonly used surfaces and objects (bathroom facilities, counters, handrails, doorknobs, switches), as well as improving the ventilation of areas with the greatest circulation of people.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Our collaborators will wear facemasks or other personal protective equipment. The wearing of facemasks is compulsory for all of the building’s users, namely suppliers, artists, clients and the general public.
Gradual resumption of cultural activities and services
As from 18 May, we will be reopening Garagem Sul – Architecture Exhibitions with the exhibition The Sea is Our Land, the Reading Room, the Conference Centre, the Olive-Tree Garden and the CCB Plaza.
