Architecture without status

Lleiltat Santsenca, Harquitectes

The lecture programme of 2020 has changed due to the measures against the new Coronavirus - Covid 19. Soon, we will announce new dates.

Common Field
is a lecture series co-produced by CCB/Garagem Sul and Lisbon Architecture Triennale

The second event of the year focuses on energy, standards and behaviours within buildings. Our guest is Spanish architect Roger Tudó, co-founder of Harquitectes. Tudó introduces their idea of “architecture without status” through a series of projects belonging to different programmes, and bearing diverse complexities and scales, all developed in Catalonia, Spain.

Roger Tudó is co-founder of the architectural studio Harquitectes, established in 2000 in Sabadell, Barcelona, with four partner architects: David Lorente Ibáñez, Josep Ricart Ulldemolins, Xavier Ros Majó and Roger Tudó Galí. All partners were licensed between 1998 and 2000 at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura del Vallès , where Josep and Roger teach Projects and Construction. Xavier also teaches Projects at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona. During the last decade, Harquitectes has been working on the relationship between energy, sustainability and building.
