Rotor Deconstruction

Conferências da Garagem 2017

Representing a new approach to contemporary architectural practice, Rotor develops critical positions on design, material resources, and waste through research, exhibitions, writings and conferences. After almost 10 years of research on the flows of materials in industry and construction Rotor launched a spin-off: Rotor Deconstruction, an autonomous entity within Rotor (designed as a cooperative company) that takes care of the dismantling and resale of valuable elements sourced from buildings slated for demolition. Rotor Deconstruction sells two categories of materials. On the one hand generic construction elements such as doors, windows, lowered ceilings, lighting devices, etc. On the other hand more exceptional batches of materials from landmark buildings.
