Cycle - Deep down Portugal is the Sea
Fish can... paint
Visual arts installation/workshop for babies and parents
A room transformed into a paper aquarium is, simultaneously, a place for swimming and painting, for feeling and transforming , for laughing and growing! We will explore dots, lines and patches, at the rhythm of the sea’s currents and the Atlantic winds. The scales of fish, algae and the tentacles of the sea anemones will determine the pigments of our bright palette of natural colours. We will paint without any chemicals or additives, so that the experience can be kinaesthetic. Our hands and feet will be paintbrushes-fins and our bodies rubber stamps-tadpoles.
Diving… painting… loving… the sea.
Warning: It is essential that you bring old clothes to wear. Natural paints are used that are made from beetroot, red cabbage, grapes, blueberries, walnuts and saffron. They won’t come off your clothes.
