Thinking about the Insono project: Possible synergies between artists and teachers
There is a well-known and firmly grounded idea that the arts in general, and music in particular, when worked upon in childhood and in the company of one’s peers, can open up spaces and times where children have the opportunity to rethink, reflect and reconstruct new meanings for their Self and for the world that they inhabit. Our proposal is to approach the theme of artistic education, thinking exactly about the bridges that can be built between the work done by artists in formal and informal contexts and the work that is undertaken by teachers and childcare workers in the everyday life at school.
