Cycle - Deep down Portugal is the Sea
The Sea Girl, by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andressen
Carla Galvão and Filipe Raposo | with music by Bernardo Sassetti
Fábrica das Artes | For every childhood
“Once upon a time, there was a white house in the dunes, facing the sea.”
This time the story of the Sea Girl is told as if it were someone entering a house that is very important for all of us. Our house. A house that holds a lot of memories; memories of many different times, memories from long ago, others that are more recent so that we can look inside them later.
In the house, we find a pianist Filipe, an actress Carla, an illustrator Beatriz and a suitcase full of pictures, together making this show a mixture of music, theatre and animated film.
In this house, we also find our dear friends: Sophia and Bernardo.
