The circolando company presents the 2nd Portuguese creation integrated within the long-term cultural cooperation project – Prospero - which the CCB is a founding member. Mansarda (Mansard) is a poetical manifest – without words - who aims to speak about the importance of preserving memory and reverie.

Mansarda (Mansard) is the last project of the thematic cycle which Circolando started in 2006, entitled The Poetics of the House. The language of the images and emotions, of the body, objects and music will be this poetic manifesto’s basis, aiming to construct a synopsis of the several concepts of the house which have been addressed during the cycle. Bachelard’s writings and Louise Bourgeois’s drawings, sculptures and installations will be the references of this work, put into dialogue with other authors, such as Al Berto, Tonino Guerra, Mia Couto, Chagall or Dussaud.
