Pedro Carneiro took advantage of this carte blanche to take back old artistic collaborations and inaugurate, simultaneously, new creative dialogues. The music is celebrated, but also dance, poetry and video.
Everything starts with one duet: Pedro Carneiro features with the French clarinettist Louis Sclavis. In the first part, totally improvised, the performance of the instrumentalists is intersected by the poetry chosen and read by the actor Miguel Moreira.
The chamber works by Takemitsu open the second part, performed by the flautist of the Orquestra de Câmara Portuguesa (Portuguese Chamber Orchestra), Natália Monteiro, and by Miquel Bernat and Nuno Aroso of the Drumming - Percussion Group. Falling upon the body of instrumentalists, Daniel Worm creates the light drawing, while André Sier presents a video release in real time. We also have the chance to listen for the first time in Portugal the work Riff for marimba and piano, by the Argentine Alejandro Viñao, with the participation of António Rosado. The stage is also shared with the absolute premiere of the most recent choreographic creation by Teresa Simas, performed by together with Pedro Mendes.
