Orpheus and Eurydice is a powerful work, moving between harmony and heartbreak, comedy and cruelty. Fascinated by the body and its most intimate, secret manifestations, choreographer Marie Chouinard has created an “exploratory dance” that plunges into a dissoluteness and excess. Bodies propelled by subterranean forces surging through them in a sinister, surreal universe.
