Nefés is the result of the sojourn of Pina Bausch and her dancers in Istanbul during the Summer of 2002, like it had already happened with other performances by this choreographer, created from artistic residences in different cities of the world. Nefés is a performance about the people of Istanbul, about the determined and mighty women, about the man and the woman, the intimacy. In Nefés, pain is present, but humour, hope and beauty prevail.
