The directors of these institutions joined forces, benefiting from the skills of their creations, in order to conceive an cultural cooperation agreement at the service of European creation, research and training’s development.

PROSPERO’S FOUR GOALS
To promote the circulation of works and artists; to contribute to the emergence of a European citizenship; to improve a space and a common cultural legacy; to strengthen the intercultural dialogue and to promote the diversity of cultures.
PROSPERO’s actions are threefold: development of the European creation;
development of a European research; training of young actors.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE EUROPEAN CREATION
Each and every year, creations of great dimension will be produced and toured, staged by Thomas Ostermeier, Alvis Hermanis, Krzysztof Warlikowski, and another stage director yet to be defined. Besides these productions, others will be created and toured by artists associated to the six structures (Pippo Delbono, Circolando, Falk Richter, Galin Stoev, Cilla Back) and by six young stage directors (Teatro Praga / Portugal).
DEVELOPMENT OF A EUROPEAN RESEARCH
Constitution of core reflection groups, regarding permanent interchange and the carrying out of two seminars (in 2010 and 2012).
YOUNG ACTORS’ TRAINING
Four partner structures of the project (Modena, Liège, Rennes, Tampere) hold actors’ schools. These traditions and modalities will be shared: throughout five years, five meetings will be held between the pedagogical directors of the different courses, and exchanges are foreseen, allowing the trainees to work during one month in another country, sharing his work with trainees from other schools.
