Turquoise is an excellent and rare opportunity to be acquainted with a series of works, disclosing the new Turkish music modernity.
SMALL AUDITORIUM – EDUARDO PRADO COELHO ROOM
For many people, the Turkish music matches with exoticism that, at best, is frozen in Mozart’s Rondo alla Turca – a naïve and European vision focused on a certain idea of the Turkish music. Neither with traces of exotic nor with the usual clichés, this concert reveals the sophistication of a new generation of gifted composers who have been gaining international recognition.
