O INSERTO BATE AS ASAS CONTRA AS LEIS DA ESCRITA
The inaugural concert of the Festival Música Viva 2011 is dedicated to the International Society for Contemporary Music and counts with two premieres: musical and technological challenges launched by Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble to the young Chinese composer Leilei Tian (1st prize in composition of the World Music Days - SIMC in Hong Kong); and to the Irish composer John McLachlan. The e-dimension in chamber music is further enhanced with three works by experienced lusophone composers, with particular focus on O Farfalhar das Folhas by the Brazilian composer Flo Menezes in homage to his brother and poet Philadelpho Menezes.
