Taking up again the partnership initiated in the 80’s, this quartet gathers once again Sergio Pelágio and Mário Franco, distinguished names in the national music scene.
The guitarist Sergio Pelágio became famous as a composer and co-creator of performances such as “Casio Tone”, “Subtone” and “Tritone”, together with the choreographer Sílvia Real. Already with the double bass player Mário Franco, he started a solo career which has been praised indoors and outdoors and justified the participation of musicians with the brightness of Dave Binney and Jesse Chandler.
If in the early years of this partnership the influence was, quite obviously, an “ECM sound” in a combination of jazz, classical music and rock, today they leave from where they remained, going farther, as far as it makes sense to them.
