Renowned for his complex and intriguing compositions with techniques influenced by erudite contemporary music, the guitarist Scott Fields does a very particular investment with this Freetet: he departs from the original model of free jazz, by Ornette Coleman, and projects it into other nuances that are not necessarily those we attend nowadays. The simplification of the resources, the focus on the subtleness of the elements and even a certain minimalism, are the rules of the game, as Fields does not submit the guitar to its usual objects of sound manipulation nor to the processing of pedals.
