The hybrid music by Rabih Abou-Khali, a fascinating combination of jazz, Arabic music and European classic music, fuses in this project in the Ricardo Ribeiro’s voice, one of the most surprising revelations of the new fado.
Rabih Abou-Khalil is one of the great lute masters, an instrument he always tried to explore in an innovative way, creating a universal musical language, appreciated and praised by lovers and reviewers of the most diverse musical fiels, from jazz to classical music, and also, from world music. In his most recent work, the Lebanese composer welcomes Ricardo Ribeiro’s voice, a young Portuguese fado singer of an unusual originality and strength; this collaboration, along with Rabih, will surely conquer the international stages.
