READING ROOM - JORGE DE SENA ROOM
Orhan Pamuk’s work explores the very own Istanbul’s idiosyncrasies, the city united by a bridge that spans for two continents, the character that persists to inhabit his books and that he became more "real" rescuing him from the shadows of the past. Istanbul is to Pamuk what Paris is to Proust, or Buenos Aires to Borges. He placed it on the map of contemporary literature.
