Two invited specialists in Thomas Bernhard will discuss the work of the writer: Peter Fabjan, Bernhard's brother, Palma Caetano, his Portuguese translator, who will also orientate the Thomas Bernhard Readers’ Community.

The theme of this conference is Bernhard's relation with Portugal, the travels he did to our country, the references of those journeys in his work and the images that places and people left on him. Peter Fabjan is somehow going to pronounce the same words, once he accompanied his brother in some of the above-mentioned travels.
