ÀS VEZES AS LUZES APAGAM-SE (SOMETIMES THE LIGHTS GO OFF)
CLÁUDIA VAREJÃO + PEDRO GIL
Nine teenagers show who they are in a performance where word and action, video design and music concert melt into a “performative concert “. The portrait and the everyday life of persons aged between 13 and 18 years old, from different social contexts. Às Vezes as Luzes Apagam-se (Sometimes the Lights go Off) is also about the first expectation time’s, the small and big secrets, thinking too much, the body one possesses and the desired one, dreams, fears, boredom, divorced parents and married parents, school and grades, friends and going out, alcohol and drugs, music and football, first heartbreaks, complexes, insecurities and wishes, and also on that smile when we talk about the one.
